We publish books in black and white or full color, from 24 to 800 pages of text, or text and images. In addition to this, we'll give you detailed instructions on how to format your book for printing using the Press-Ready PDF standard and we'll coach you through the entire project. If you don't already have your book cover we can format one for you, using your elements. We provide the ISBN number and Barcode and can even design and host a webpage to help you promote your book.

Using your correctly formatted Press-Ready PDF files (one file for the interior and one file for the cover) it is possible to produce a PrePress print of your paperback in as little as four weeks. Then when you approve the PrePress print, you can then place an order for as many books as you want. You'll have your book order in about 20 business days—depending on holidays. Plan your events accordingly.

  Price examples below do not include sales tax (tax not applied if you have a resale license), or shipping costs.

Paper:
Cover printed on 80 lb paper and laminated.
Trim sizes 5" x 8", 5 ½" x 8 ½", or 6" x 9" are printed on 55 lb offset, creme or white paper.
All other sizes are printed on 50 lb offset, white paper.
Minimum 80 pages required for spine text.

* Title Set-up: Fee is based on page count, type, trim size and includes:

~ ISBN and Barcode
~ Review PDFs of your formatted Interior pages and Cover-spread layout
~ PreFlight test on your Interior and Cover Press-Ready PDFs
~ Price structure and book metadata preparation
~ One Pre-Press print for your review
~ If selecting full distribution the title is submitted to our sales channel here in the USA and the UK.
~ Fulfillment of all book orders, tracking of all sales, and quarterly royalty reports.

In most cases the review process of your files will only take a few days. Then we will advise you If we discover layout or formatting issues so that you can make the changes to your original document and submit a final Press-Ready PDF. If your Press-Ready PDFs are correct we'll add an ISBN and Barcode, set up the price structure and book metadata, submit the files and metadata for processing, and request a PrePress print. If modified PDFs are submitted there will be a review fee of $35 for each PDF.

(Title Set-up Fee does not include any layout adjustments, corrections, or design work. That is billed at $90 per hour.)

Full distribution ~ $36 for each ISBN.

This service can be requested at initial title set-up, and must be renewed annually to keep title in distribution.
We will list your book with Ingram and submit your title metadata to the distribution channel including Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com. This fee also covers bookkeeping, tracking books printed for online outlets, and generating quarterly royalty reports.

Annual Distribution Fee: $36.00 by December 31st. This will continue our distribution services for the following year.

Inclusion in Ingram's Printed Catalogs ~ $95 for one catalog inclusion. (This catalog is distributed to bookstores and libraries.)

This service must be requested at initial title set-up.
The catalog is compiled 12 times a year and one could include your book. With this marketing service, Ingram will produce a short paragraph describing the book. Retail pricing information, and a black & white cover image will also be included. Titles submitted will appear in a catalog 3 to 4 months after the request.

Other Services:

Cover Formatting Services ~ $90.00 an hour. Using your text and images we can create a professional cover-spread for you. Design time will depend on the complexity. You supply all the front cover elements and the back cover text, then we'll will take your layout ideas and generate the PressReady file for publishing.

Manuscript Formatting/Layout Service ~ $90.00 an hour. This service is offered for manuscripts that contain text only, no photos or illustrations. Using your Microsoft Word document we can complete the final formatting of your text layout, then generate the PressReady file for publishing.

Author's Webpage (Hosting fee will apply). We can design and host one basic rp-author webpage. This page will display the book description and front cover image, the author's bio and photo, plus direct links to your book on Amazon and Barnes&Noble.com.

Annual hosting fee: $36.00, by December 31st. Webpage can be cancelled at any time.
